This christmas Kimmel and i spent at home. It was our first christmas without travel, or production. Just waking up, heating up some cinnamon buns, heating water up for hot coco and hot tea. We had a lovely morning! Cleaned house and then went to see Tangled. I sometimes wonder if we should have done something different, or made a 'difference', and then i remember i over think things too much!  MERRY CHRISTMAS!! May the gift of christmas live through you all 364 other days of the year! We are so blessed and don't ever forget! 

Kimmel and i went to Texarkana to visit the Jones family...we miss them loads and were excited to spend 24 hours with them. Of course we did some skeet shooting! :) Dustin got a huge hicky on his shoulder from it and Brock was a great skeet thrower! It was a fun relaxing few hours with our best friends and their little ones!  They are our family! 

This week I haven't had any ideas of what to blog. Its been a great week, had my birthday Tuesday...it totally rocked, Andrew surprised me twice and i love surprises so it was fun!! Time with Jesus has been sweet and lovely. But still nothing,i think sometimes i get nothing to say cause i need to listen and that i have been doing. Hopefully after this week or so i will be flooded with things to say...all full of wisdom and humor that makes all readers laugh....right? :) MERY CHRISTMAS FROM KIMMEL AND I!!

Its cold here in Ft Worth! Slow cooker season again! Trying a new one today, it is smelling good! Thought you might like it too. Its chicken tex mex served on rice! Slow-Cooker Tex Mex Chicken 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1in wide strips 2 Tbsp taco seasoning mix 2 Tbsp flour 1 green pepper cut into 1 inch wide strips 1 red pepper cut into 1 inch wide strips 11/2 cups thick and chunky salsa 1 cup shredded cheese Mix all but the cheese in slow cooker cover lid. Cook on low 6-8 or high 3-4 Stir just before serving and top with cheese. You can lay this over rice or maybe even put it in tortillas. YUM YUM!

So i heard about this new fashion company- Halle Joy- Their purpose is to make fashionable handbags and jewlery to sell and give money to africa or some place that needs it. Kind of like Toms and other fun great companies. December is special for several reasons. Christmas, gifts, family, friends, food the list goes on. everyone has different reasons this month is special. One reason december is special for me is Pipe Masters takes place 8-20th. These two weeks are filled with surfers all gathering in Hawaii to compete. Thanks to the internet we can watch it live! They have dedicated this years tournament to Andy Irons -young surfer who died last month. Wish i was there. Here is a video to check out!
