We hit two months today. 8 weeks. thats it. and yet sometimes it feels like so many more weeks. He is a cute little thing :) He is pretty easy going, and average on all baby things. Smiling and cooing has been his latest trick. That and blowing bubbles! He still smells like a baby and cuddles enough to keep me happy. He likes the swing a lot and sleeps with lots of noise from the brothers all around him. I think we'll keep him! He was telling me he was tired of taking pictures in this picture :) i put him in the swing shortly after i took this and he was out...snoring!  The boys couldn't stand it anymore they had to sit close and play with him. Asher loves to 'boop' his nose. So we had a minute of 'booping' :) Jack didn't mind it.

Really wanted pictures of the boys in these shirts we got for Jack's birth day. So with the weather being Falltastic we gave it a shot. Two boys wouldn't stand or sit still unless they were holding the baby. The baby wouldn't give us any expressions really..i think he was confused as to what was happening. So i got some cute pictures but you totally can't see the shirts!! hahaha  Ever since we got these shirts and i explained to shepherd what they say, he calls Asher Big brother. He says Hey big brother asher lets go play. Then he will say he is the biggest brother and that Asher has to listen to him.  So thankful for these boys! Its fun watching their personalities bloom. What an adventure we will share!

One month

Is it really just one month ago that we brought Jack home? I felt like i hit the ground running when i got home. The two oldest are so busy and active. We didn't have any family come stay with us and kimmel went back to work on Monday and my mom went to work on Tuesday so it was me and the boys pretty quick. I was still sore and super tired but felt bad i wasn't interacting as much with the boys...you know just had major surgery! lol Our home team was really sweet to bring us dinner for the first week so that was nice to not think about meals. Kimmel's mom came out two days end of the week to play with the older two. It was a crazy time but i think things are going smooth now. One thing is for sure, Jack is a cutie and I'm smitten! Its funny to do this newborn phase again for the third time, I still feel so inexperienced at times. Thankful that he is pretty easy going and nurses really well. Jack is a grunter and a mover. He loves it when the boys hold him, or a...

Jack Kaleb

Its been almost two weeks since we added Jack to our family. In some ways it feels so normal and like he has been here for ever! I am soaking up every minute of it let me tell you! Wanted to share some pictures from that day. Our good friend Dustin offered to take pictures when the family came to  meet him, we were very thankful for that!  The boys came up when i all was done and we were in recovery, so they wouldn't be up there all day! We had to get the boys t-shirts for the big day! Shepherd picked out the big 'digger' and asher got a fox. Biggest brother and big brother. We have a small onesie for the little guy too that says little brother, he'll wear it soon.  My mom got cupcakes for us to celebrate his birth! So visitors could have a yummy treat! We left some for the nurses when we left and they were VERY thankful!  Gia and Layla's first look and kisses! Opa and family hold and snuggle the newest addition  He's perfe...

The home strech

We can see the finish line for baby Jack. We have a date set for c section- August 11.  My bag has been packed for a couple weeks and i have t-shirts for the boys. Countdown has begun! I guess you know its bad when a lady in the stores asks you 'how much longer' and actually says bless your heart to your face. I definitely am bigger than either of the other two pregnancies, but i must have looked really uncomfortable to her. She told me about her 4 girls and a little about her births. It was kind of silly listening and yet also endearing. I had a flash to me in 20 years seeing a young girl about to pop and knowing what she will go thru. All the joy tears sweat and pain. How much of life is about to begin. So i listened and thanked her for sharing. Its been a great pregnancy and the summer has been pretty mild, for these things i am thankful. I can't describe the tiredness i feel everyday though...and i am trying really hard to enjoy each day and moment with Shepherd and...

Three little boys

Image
I have had a two 'dreams' for life that started way back when i was little. To live near the ocean and raise a house full of boys. One out of two isn't bad? On National Sibling day (yesterday) we took shepherd to our 20 week sono for baby number 3! He just didn't believe us when we would say, 'there's a baby in mommy's tummy'. He would sweetly say "no there isn't". So i thought even though he may not be able to really tell whats on the screen at least he would get the idea of the X-ray of mommy's tummy and believe the dr! It is coming to our family in August so thought he should be ready. We didn't not post for a specific reason really. Im always a bit more hesitant til after the first trimester due to our past, but then after that it was like i couldn't figure out how i wanted to post it. Excited about our third edition i just had to make it spectacular! lol We told family and close friends but i just wanted it to be gr...

Kiwi Crate craft box

Image
Shepherd received a three month subscription to Kiwi Crate from his Layla and Opa (Valinda and mark- my inlaws) and i have to share how great it was! Kiwi Crate has four different crates they send out depending on age starting at 3 up to 15. First ages 3-4 is Koala Crate and this is what we got to experience! A box of two or three crafts then instructions about how to use them, each came with a book too. Check out their Facebook Pag e! This is a great gift idea!! Not sure if its my lack of awesome crafting ability or cause Shep is a boy but we don't do loads of crafts so i was really intrigued by the concept and completely satisfied with the product. Each 'craft' was thoroughly thought out and simple. You didn't need extra glue, or anything to make it work, and they are simply designed to make even the most uncrafty person, such as myself, look good! As well as all that goodness each one came with a book! Its also was fun for him to receive a box each month! Got so ...
