i am a music lover...i don't know how anyone in the world today cannot be...there are somany different styles of music to meet any style you may have...so today at work the guys were talking about guitars...i personally love guitars...i play a little bit..but when it comes to knowing all the mombo jumbo talk about guitars i get lost....the make a beautiful sound and are fun to play with many differnt ways to play your emotions...music can either set your mood or enhance your mood! and let me say i luv it! i am digging Elefant right now! check it out! www.elefantweb.com

the weather is beautiful today...it makes me want to swing on a playground or go to a park and pick flowers...or better yet go to the coast and walk on the sand while listening to the cold water crash...getting your feet numb from walking in the cold water! oh yea that is the best!! rode my skateboard outside for a bit today though...i just wish i had more play time! hahahaha if you have not done so today...enjoy the snapshot of spring before the delicious cold comes back our way!! so i am single...all but two friends of mine are married or engaged...not a problem there is noone i really want to be married to and i am not like an angry girl who hates boys...i am just picky you know...i think there are somethings that are very important and i will not compromise....there are moments of weaknesses of course i am human...but the funny thing is the two friends that are single talk to me about the 'males' in their lives...and it really hurts me how these guys can just be so flippant with my friends emotions and friendship...just b/c they want to hang out with them...just b/c they know the girl likes him...it makes him feel good...you know well that sux! the girl gets excited and all emotional and they are just like oh yea this is fun! i am nerd! and we girls fall prey to it everytime...i mean when there is a guy that finally meets whatever requirements we have in our heads...or we think they do...we get all weak...like the things that are important to us fall

last night my friend and i went to Mikado's in downtown fort worth for dinner had some great sushi...spent a couple of hours in the huge barnes and noble reading magazines and crazy fun books...then not wanting to see a movie or do something of the ordinary...so we went for a ride up 820 toward and past saginaw...there she showed me this castle in the middle of no where that was baricaded with iron fense that had barbwire on top...with huge spotlights shinning on the castle like letting everyone know that you cannot touch this building and if that was not enough there was a small stone fense by the road that had signs on it saying "video servalence by police department" ...so ok there is a random castle in the middle of nowhere protected for who knows why!?!?!? does that sound strange to you or is it just me...it was like 11:30 at night and totally dark...so it was SPOOKY!!! if anyone knows what this castle is all about...do tell!!!

I have one of the coolest cats around...the world must know!! it was a hot texas afternoon in May when i spotted to ladies near a pickup truck with a sign that said 'free kittens'...i inhaled and thought 'oh i shouldn't'...drove the other way then unturned back...looked inside the box and saw 6 or 7 adorable kittens...the ladies said they came from Calico and Tabby cats...so i picked up the cutes black kitten you had ever seen...tucked him under my arm and int Walmart i went to get the litter box, litter and food...Neko is Japanese for cat...so its kind of silly to be calling him Cat...but Neko sounds cool! haha I live by myself so in the morning when i go to leave he attachs my leg like saying please don't leave...its nice to know you are loved even when its by a cute little kitten...:) never thought i would be a cat person...but i luv him!!!

So i work at a church in Texas...totally luv my job if you can call it a job...as a youth minister it gets kind of blurry at times...b/c our focus is teens, their culture and what they need...so keeping up with pop culture, hanging out with students, going to their sporting events and theatrical shows and sharing Christ with them is FUN!!! i fell so lucky you know...and like today we went to lunch at one of the high schools and memories just flood back man...i mean i have been out for like 9 years and i can remember the fun we used to have....skipping study hall to hang out in the bathroom with your best friends..sleeping thru government...wondering how physics is really going to be used in your life in the future and thinking how silly all this nonsense is...b/c nonsense it really is....then college is just a big place to grow up but no one does and when you hit "the real world" it doesn't exist...the real world is what is happening in your life whether it is normal, str

So this is the lastest craze eh? Technology is great when it works! Did anyone watch SNL and see the killers? it was good times and great music! So today is Martin Luther King's Holiday...we should take a minute and reflect on the impact he had in our world.
