Nap time...with Neko! :)  Ok so naps were my fave in college...sometimes you would even plan your day around making sure you got a nap...everything was scheduled just so, that way you could have what is important to you...a nap! As i get older i seem to not have alot of time to take as many naps as i would like to take...but the other day...on my day off...i actually got to lay down...me and neko took a nice long one! So all that to say have you had your nap today??? if not please take time out to do so!!

Battle of the Bands!  Battle of The Bands 4th Annual...i am getting excited about this! next week is our battle of the bands that our church puts on...its a blast...15 local high school bands play for their peers...its sooo fun...this picture was from last years but it looked so cool i had to share and promote the event!

so as mentioned in the previous post i went to a concert...Paul Wright...and it was a small thing...so after the show we went up and talked to him...i asked him if he remembered some people that went to university with him in oregon but he didn't and then small talk don't really remember...and said by...and i wonder you know that was like a huge deal for me and like will be remembered for the rest of my life....or at least the next 5 years right? and famous people meet fans all the time...i wonder what makes someone stand out and be remembered...not in a psyco way but a cool way...if that ever happens... so there is a list of people i would like to meet...and i wonder does that encounter count or to meet someone does that mean they have to rememeber you too...and then its qualified as they met you? just a thought...i can't imagine even being remotly famous...known for something....recognized you know...crazy!

so i took Neko to the vet on friday morning for a 'checkup'...to make sure is ok and get the shots needed for you know cat things...i picked him up around 1 and he seemed ok...a bit shaken but ok...sat in the sink while i got ready for the day like he normally does...and i go and grab dinner with a friend a pick up another around 8 and we end back to my apartment...and when we get there neko is like laying on the sofa and gets up looks at me and saunters into my roommates room...looks back at me then heads under the bed! letting me know he did not appreciate me taking him to that place that poked and proded him...my friends and i went to hear Paul Wright play at a lock-in nearby...and when we come back Neko is on the sofa again and limp as all get out...so i like pet him and he is like..um don't touch me...and looked away you know...then in the morning we were all up talking and my roommate said she tried to move him to a better spot and he hissed at her...thankfully today

Va. Beach...good times!!  Spent three great days down by the coast of Va Beach!! Super fun...and i got to go to the spot we used to go to in High School...and they have built up soooo much and a parking lot...crazy how things change soo much....but it was still a good time!

Well if i have not told you on the phone i am telling you on the computer...Jack Johnson rocks! went to his show the other night and had a blast...the venue was packed topping near 5,000 people! He played for like almost 2 hrs! such a great show...very kickback and calm...his back drop was white sheets on which they placed pics of rain, waves, surfboards etc. really great stuff that went along with each song...saw some friends i had not seen in awhile...briefly chatted...it was nice! So glad i was able to go and thankful my roommate likes him too so we could experience it together...we don't do that often enough...(not complaining just comizorating...if thats how you spell it!) hahaha
