One of the shows that i DVR is House with Huge Laurie. I love his character so rude and crude yet so loveable! The stories behind the medicine, and behind the illness. I know it isn't totally real and they always wrap it up tight but its great! I would totally not do well working under someone like house, but i would try for a bit. i think it would make me a better person! lol Tonight it ends. From 2004 to 2012 it had an awesome running! The cast has changes some thru out the years but has maintained some really great ones! I am sad to see it go but you should watch tonight at 9 on fox. It will be awesome.

Becoming a mom has been a fun and challenging change. One of my weaknesses is i don't do well with change. So God gave me Kimmel who can live on change who keeps me sane and i am thankful for him.  There are many things i am learning and i am sure many of you will say i have loads more to learn. So i share the lil bit i know now. First off the last four things i learned are still true! 5. Sun gets poops stains out of clothing! Just wash or wet with soap then lay them in the sun! Thanks to Kati Dukes i know this! Might i add that we only get poop on ourselves when we use the disposable diapers! :/ 6. I am reading lots of books and hearing lots of advice...but every family is different and that is good, because of this i way all advice with prayer and our family values. Books are great too but knowing i don't have to fit them exactly is huge!! (Christin's advice!) 7. Taking in every moment and try not to think about what's ahead in the next month. Taking joy in a

Saturday morning Kimmel's parents took Shepherd and us to visit with Meme. She is Andrew's great grandma, who is so fun and will turn 101 in a couple weeks! She was so excited to meet Shepherd! He did really well skipping an nap he didn't get real cranky.  We sat and talked with her for an hour or so and had a blast! We were talking about her hearing aids at one point and Valinda said 'i am glad you got hearing aids' and Meme says "HUH?" really loud with a smile :) she is so spunky i love it!  She loves to give things to her family when we visit, so she told us to pick from this bag she had of goodies. Meme talked about all the fun things she gets to do and how she is a happy gal. She also made a cute lil bag for our cousin Eleanor. She is always thinking and praying for her family! She is a lovely woman and role model. 

Sometimes when we put shepherd down for a nap or the evening he puts on a show for us in the monitor. We were able to get this video monitor system from Babies R Us. Its fun to watch him!  Last night he was making us laugh. He likes the green light at the top of the camera and just laughs and talks to it before we get the sleep stare and slowly closing of the eyes. He also has a mobile on the other side and sometimes he places his hand on it and talks to it or the animals above him.  Kimmel says its the best TV show ever..i must agree! :) 

So i broke down and purchased some onesies for each month for the first year to do pictures with Shepherd. Isn't he cute! :) So its been three months and we can't believe it! Taking in each moment and filling it away in my heart. He is 'talking' up a storm and even getting a little giggle out of him if we are lucky. His smile lights up his whole face which in turn lights up ours. Its funny to watch as he gets fixated on something and 'talks' to it. One sweet thing that has begun is his daddy time. Kimmel is able to get him to talk more than i can. He just holds him face to face and makes noises that Shepherd answers back. Its awesome to see them bond. Still doesn't stop moving unless he is sleeping. Now he is trying to find his thumb or fingers to suck on. He still won't take a paci but thats ok with us. He is our happy boy! Its hard to say goodbye to some of the onesies and footie outfits he has cause they are soooo cute! I am packing th

So over the last three months i have decided that sleep depravation has caused some issues for me. When waking up every 2-3 hours i became delirious and irrational. Delirious i woke up afraid he was in the bed and i couldn't find him. Another time i woke up thinking i was holding him and freaked out when it was just a pillow. One time i woke up wondering where our other baby was cause i knew we had twins. Yet another time i thought i skipped a feeding cause i didn't remember the last one, so thankful for the app that keeps track of that for me! Irrational Fears When i am in a store, if i take my eyes off him he will disappear or get taken. When we say grace out in a restaurant i have to watch him cause same reason Envision myself tripping and dropping him. Envision myself falling out of bed on him when he was sleeping in the bouncer.
