This saturday was a beautiful day that Andrew and I took advantage of. We went to the zoo with our friends Christin and Dustin and their little boy Brock! It was so much fun! Neither Andrew nor I had been in years so it was fun to see all the new stuff! Brock was fun to watch and silly too. On the way in a saw a beautiful flower! I think it is a hybiscus. :) my fave! The Cute Meerkat! I thought he was a little bit bigger than that in real life...but still so cute! Brock loved the bird exhibit so much he watned to kiss the bird! Andrew was mezmirized by the elephants. One of them was rolling around three balls, kind of playing soccer with them. I think they connected. :) It was a wonderful fun day! I am so glad we got to go!

Saw Shawn McDonald this past weekend...he is sooo good....so humble and lyrically amazing! What a great show! He started off with a very slow version of Bob Marley's song '3 little birds' and ended it with Beatles cover of 'Black Bird'. His music was so chill and great...the crowd talked a lot and was kind of rude...i think...cause we were in the back of a coffee shop outside...so it was like a small back yard and you could hear everything....but it was so fun...Andrew and i went with Kyle and Maddie...they are so sweet. :) Check out Shawn at myspace or www.shawnncdonaldmusic.com Me and Andrew at the show..his sinuses were bothering him bad that night so he looks a little beat up...:(

So i mentioned that my family loves soccer...well me and andrew's team just had our first game for the new season...and we won! 8-6. Andrew scored 3 and i scored one with two assists...;) it was really fun, i just bought new turf shoes so i think that helped a bunch! hahaha it was so fun...there is always one person on the other team that just is a poor attitude person you know..and i really have a hard time when they talk smack to about andrew and was really done with that guy! argh! ahahahaha

Brooke Fraser is probably my favorite song writter right now. We know her from the famous Hillsong Worship team in Australia. Her voice is so pretty and clean. Her solo album just resonates with my heart. The whole albulm is amazing and i can listen to the whole thing in a continuous cycle. The two that I could listen to on repeat for hours is "Love is Waiting" and " Faithful". If you don't know her or anything about Hillsong you need to check them out! They are so great! I started playing soccer my sophomore year of high school. Some friends and i started the team with the guys soccer coach....he was the coolest teacher ever...you know him every school has one! Those three seasons were so much fun. The games and the van rides nothing could top it. Tried to go on my college team but was denied...its ok college was still amazing!  That was me more than 10 years ago before the whole beckham surge and the US became obsessed with the sport. Now my family is a soccer family. My oldest nephew is like a star, so gifted and focused...and he LOVES it. His little brother plays too...for as much as a 2.5 year old can play :) Me, Andrew and our friends are on an indoor league...SO FUN! and my brother in law is on an indoor team...and he played tennis growing up!  My cats name is lil beckham in honor of the futboller!  We love the sport....just thought i would share! 

So for about 6 months now a group of my friends have been coming over to my house each week to play monopoly. We have given ourselves a name too...we are the monopolistics :) even have a website if you care to know who is in it, the boards we have played (never knew how many variations of the game there were!) and how many games each has won.  You maybe thinking that is a long game to get together to play each week! And you are correct it is long and so fun to watch the competitive spirit of each to come alive or trampled by the aggressive one! :)  Its great clean fun, you should start it with your friends...Topher Grace has his own group you should too!  don't like monopoly try another game...Phase 10 maybe....? Onyx edition...so cool! 

So last night was a miserable night, all my stress and tension i guess has been building up and my body couldn't take it any more...and i was up last night thinking i was having some serious issues. The pain went all the way thru to my chest and at a point i thought i was having a heart attack. But i didn't and i am ok, just tired and ready to cry on a dime. :) so chat with me if you dare! ;)
