EastCoastLove

The past few weeks are still whirling around me and i hardly have time to think keeping things straight. Thankfully the house is coming along! The inside is all sheet rocked and ready for paint that we will do after they are finished. Cabinets will be put in next week, as well as toilets and hopefully our septic tank. The outside is nearly done, just need our shutters and some bricks to fill in holes. (pictures from our neighbors, cause we can't make it out there everyday) Front Back Side  Its exciting cause more and more things keep getting done while more and more projects keep popping in my head :) fun projects!  Went to lowes this morning with Asher to get our mailbox. With every little thing that gets done it feels more and more like home.  thanks for taking time to look and be excited for us! its been a fun journey to share!! :) 

I forget how long it takes to feel like 'me' again after having a baby. Asher is now 5 months and i realized two weeks ago i thought man this feels like 'me'. Didn't know i wasn't me.  Then this past wednesday i took shepherd to an empty Let's Jump in the morning and after he woke early from his nap i said...lets go to the zoo!! He has been talking about the zoo loads cause we watch a curious George episode about the zoo and his cousin Eleanor has a T-shirt from a zoo she went to and told him all about it last week. Wednesday is half price day and when we got there no one was taking money to park! Kids are free 2 and under so it was a whopping $6 for us all!! Thought about asking friends to go but i didn't think anyone would be ready to be so spontaneous :) Last time we went with friends we missed the baby elephant by like 15 mins. So i was really hurrying to get there in time. We did and when we say them shepherd kept saying loudly 'baby elephan

If you have been keeping up with us a little bit you know that the last year has been a standstill. Things started to begging back in october 2013 but now we are in full on turbo drive. Last blog i said our contractor said it would take six weeks till we could get in and i half way believed him. But this past week has blown by and we are left with and amazingly almost finished outside! The end of last week we had the frame. Then we got the roof framed and some walls.  This week ended with getting the fireplace, roof, and siding done, brick is where you see the white paper. Windows and doors are in. Still have loads to go but man oh man that was just in a week!  FRONT BACK The boys and i got to go down and walk thru the walls and take pictures! it was so fun! When shepherd see pictures now he shouts ..'HOUSE' :) trying to prepare him for the move! So thats 2 weeks...maybe 4 left...we shall see!
