Jack is six! Woah that was fast! This last year i have been trying to savor every last minute of time together. Cause now we enter into two new chapters, he starts Kinder and i go back to work! We are ready just a little nervous! This little guy is full of personality! Love him and what makes him unique. He adds even more laughs and craziness to our family and we all love him for it! His laugh and toots make us laugh so hard we cry at times. He also tries to tell jokes you gotta ask him to tell you his favorite joke!  He wanted a bowling party this year, so we met with family at Andy B's for a fun night! If you haven't been you need to go! Its supper fun!      Jack Kaleb Kimmel you are a gift from above! We are thankful for you and who you are! We are excited and thankful to be on this earth together. Thankful we get to watch as God grows you into who he created and dreamed up for only you!    Will it be weird if i continue to take pictures of him sleeping....

This year we signed Asher and Shepherd up for UPWARDS basketball! Thanks to a friend who remembered a conversation we had months ago about sports activities, she let me know and we joined quick! They both love it!! I was sad that Jack couldn't join in the fun but it is based on grade level not age, so next year! Although he says he wants to do soccer or football not basketball. LOL This is a great starting place.  For those who don't know Upwards sports is a church program that teaches kids a sport and sprinkles Jesus in there. I am sure there is some official definition that I'm butchering, but I think you get it. Asher's age, K-2nd, doesn't keep score, or infractions.  So its rather cute watching all these kids double dribble, walk, and look at their parents for help. They play half court and rotate all players through the five 6 min 'quarter'. Shepherds age 3-5 plays full court and all the rules!  These last two months have been exciting and challenging. ...

5 things about jack you should know 1. His facial expressions have been his greatest form communication since he was like 6 months old. He could raise his eye brows before he was one! His sweet little emotions are all over his face!  2. He loves to make his brothers laugh. Asher is his biggest fan!  3.  Still wants to hold my hand when we walk out in public! Still snuggles and lets me hold him when ever he isn't running wild :)  4. Always talks about motorcycles, dirt bikes, racing go carts, playing soccer, running and driving tractors. There is nothing this boy doesn't want to do. The world is his oyster.  5. Lastly he loves our cats something fierce and they love him too!  Happy birthday Jack! We love you!!

So a year ago lil Jack joined our family! That morning as kimmel was taking pictures of all the little moments up to the birth he made a hashtag #jackextraction and it made me laugh! Since i was having a C section it made sense...he only did it for two pictures but still it was perfect. A year later and its been amazing. This little happy guy is such a fun addition to our family. The boys love him and still love to hold him even thought jack can't stand it! Through out the day i hear both the big boys saying 'no jack' or 'uh ah don't touch that jack'...i then ask, who is the mommy? He apparently has 2 extras. Sweet lovable little Jack. We are so very thankful for you! You keep us laughing and happy as you continue to explore your world and get so very frustrated when you can't keep up with your brothers. Thru all the squeezes and pulls you must know they love you, its just a strange way to show it. Thanks for putting up with them! Save Save Sa...

So here we are in July and Jack is 11 months! Can't believe it! He is moving and a grooving, slo close to walking on his own. Wants to be where his brothers are and can almost wrestle them for any toy. He is just getting stronger each day!  Trying to go outside early each morning so we can enjoy the cool. It doesn't last long but we enjoy it while we can swinging, jumping or just enjoying the breeze.  He makes us laugh and we apparently make him squeal cause that is his form of communication right now. We are working on that haha

We were in Virginia when our little Jack turned 10 months.  My nephew Noah graduated from High School and i had my 20 year high school reunion. It was a crazy 10 days but we all made it. We spent lots of time with my sister and her kids, the boys loved playing with all the new toys and fun cousins. Mom wanted a picture with all her grandkids, so at my sisters' house one day we snapped a couple but it was super hot so none of the kids lasted long :)       We took one morning to spend on the beach and the boys loved it, jack not so much he cried when i put his feet in the water and the sand. Took them to the spot i would drive to during high school. It was overcast and super windy but we had a blast. We met my friends Monica and Rob with their twins. Asher played in the sand with all the toys our friends brought and shepherd ran in and out of the water having a blast!  We had a blast even if we were all so exhausted and cran...

Another month has breezed by, or i guess i should say washed by, due to all the rain! Blah, so over thunderstorms and tornados! Thankfully jack has no clue about weather and storms. We all know something bout allergies right now though! Me and all three the boys have congested faces. :( Hoping it passes quickly. This little nugget just keeps on growing. Started waving a little bit and still does the bashful tuck when you try to talk to him :) Likes to stand but not really interested in crawling. Talking a bit more...we get Mama and Dada out of him sometimes. Mostly just gibberish and yelling at his brothers. His laughter is contagious and i can't stop tickling him to hear it :) Enjoying every day with this chill little baby. Thankful he is part of our family!

Again the month has flown by and Jack is not as little as we was. Our chill little third born is fun to be around. He is taking his time growing and hitting milestones. Shepherd and Asher were starting to pull up and almost walking at this time, and Jack is just content to roll around and play with his toes. Still the cutest little bashful boy when someone tries to talk to him. Cutting his eyes down and grinning as his chin tucks into his chest. We are currently learning how to wave....he does it sometimes but other times he just smiles at us like 'yea I'm not gonna do that' .  Enjoying all these pretty days out side...praying it doesn't rain anymore our road can't take it! 

Not much has changed for our little Jack. Still growing an happy. Still loved by his brothers who often fight over holding him.  Found this sweet little onsie on ETSY from a shop called Urban Baby Co .. If you have little ones or know someone who does they have sweet clothing! Check them out!  Sitting up, screaming, reaching and eating. These are the things that occupy his time in between naps. Still a great sleeper!  Love this picture from the Tulip fields from last week. We had been there about an hr and he was DONE. After we let the older ones run around the maze we tried for an all kids photo. But as you can see Jack didn't want anything to do with it...but i thought it was so sweet my two were trying to soothe him while the Johns watched. :) 

We have hit the half year mark. Man i am really thankful for this little guy. He is such a sweet addition to our family. His coos are changing and he yells at the boys now too when he gets excited. He does the shy dive when someone tries to talk to him and I'm holding him, he smiles and dives into my shoulders. Its pretty adorable. He has his two bottom teeth now, and seems like the others aren't far behind. Drooling and chewing all day long! We are working on sitting up with out help, he sits up when propped up but not alone yet. So we are close to starting solid foods. Gonna give the baby-led weaning a try this time. He is grabbing at toys and it's funny to see him shake his arm up and down with the toy in it while just looking so serious watching it move. The boys still poke and play with him, i have to keep an eye out cause they get too rough. He is a sweet smiling little nugget that i can't believe is 6 months. Still cherishing every little thing!

We have made it thru the Holidays, a crazy fast job change for Kimmel and more rain destroying our dirt road! Getting back into the swing of the new normal and we celebrate Jack being 5 months today. Our fun little last born is growing and changing each day. We found two little bottom teeth cut thru this past month and he found his two fingers and sucks on them like candy. One thing that i love from the christmas story is the verse about Mary. L uke 2:19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart . I think this sums up motherhood for a lot of us. We soak up and store away so many little things in our hearts that just makes the love for our babies grow. I have some memories that are unique to Shepherd and Asher and now i am storing up treasures for Jack. His smile. He is such a happy baby, and when he looks at me he smiles with his whole body. He gets so excited he wiggles his arms and legs and sometimes just squeals :) Its so sweet when we are somewh...

This little man is four months today. He is all smiles and giggles! Shepherd and Asher still want to hold him all the time and do so.  We are having loads of fun.  I finally put him in his crib last night. He spent the first couple months in a swing and snuggle bunny in our bedroom.  It was hard for me to graduate him to his room. I guess cause its our baby and i just don't want him to grow up just yet :) He did wonderfully and he woke a happy camper. 

Here we are at three months old. Jack is so cute and tiny, can't i prolong this just a little bit longer! When i say tiny, i mean he's just the smallest boy we have :) He is our little chunk! Thankfully he is growing and doing well. This month snuck up on me for some reason so i haven't finished all the 3 months poses yet! haha This sweet outfit is passed down from my sister and her kids. Hard to tell but its Peter Rabbit on the shirt and sweet carrots on the bottoms! He is moving, smiling and making all kinds of sounds. Its fun to hear his little squeals in our house. Trying really hard to get a laugh from him...but not yet just his big goofy grin and sweet coos. I am thankful for them all!

We hit two months today. 8 weeks. thats it. and yet sometimes it feels like so many more weeks. He is a cute little thing :) He is pretty easy going, and average on all baby things. Smiling and cooing has been his latest trick. That and blowing bubbles! He still smells like a baby and cuddles enough to keep me happy. He likes the swing a lot and sleeps with lots of noise from the brothers all around him. I think we'll keep him! He was telling me he was tired of taking pictures in this picture :) i put him in the swing shortly after i took this and he was out...snoring!  The boys couldn't stand it anymore they had to sit close and play with him. Asher loves to 'boop' his nose. So we had a minute of 'booping' :) Jack didn't mind it. 

Really wanted pictures of the boys in these shirts we got for Jack's birth day. So with the weather being Falltastic we gave it a shot. Two boys wouldn't stand or sit still unless they were holding the baby. The baby wouldn't give us any expressions really..i think he was confused as to what was happening. So i got some cute pictures but you totally can't see the shirts!! hahaha  Ever since we got these shirts and i explained to shepherd what they say, he calls Asher Big brother. He says Hey big brother asher lets go play. Then he will say he is the biggest brother and that Asher has to listen to him.  So thankful for these boys! Its fun watching their personalities bloom. What an adventure we will share!
