I may be a little late to bandwagon for this show since i just started, but i LOVE it! My sister is totally hooked and a big fan so i thought i would give it a try. Moving out here was the best time to try it out since there was no dvr or cable and with all the summer shows still in rerun i decided to start from the beginning and watch all 9 seasons to get ready for tonight! I'm not a huge fan of the main characters never getting together story line, but since i knew that they were together i could muster thru the 6 seasons apart. They did a great job of stringing along for a few seasons and had some great side stories with the other cast. Love when they had the baby, love the wedding and love the change that Brennan makes. Love their banter and how they help each other. If you haven't started watching it you should! Netflix has all 9 seasons now. 

There are a couple of commercials out now that Kimmel and i love. That we stop to watch when watching our recorded shows. The latest AT&T ones with the kids and the guy asking questions. Priceless! It's like they took a cue from Bill Cosby or something. Kimmel emailed me the spanish version of one of my favorites. The CapriSun about the mom wanting to be there for her boy in every situation. Very funny! Watch this one... It just makes me smile cause i am like oh i would do that! lol

Don't know if you know or not but there is a HILARIOUS show that comes on NBC some night at some time...cause i DVR it :) ...called Guys with Kids. Created by the great Jimmy Fallon. Set in NY City, three guys who are best friends live in the same apartment building and all, you guessed it, have kids. One is divorced, but the girl is still around, the other two married. I laugh out loud at least twice each episode...and some of you may think i do that often but really i don't when it comes to tv...i think scrubs was the last one i remember made me truly laugh out loud. I checked it out cause i love Jimmy Fallon and he wrote and produced it, so i thought it has to be great. To be honest the first one was good and i laughed but it just keeps getting funnier! You have to check it out! The kids are adorable, the girls are funny and the boys just make me laugh so hard its a fun show! So check out NBC on Wednesdays at 7:30 central! Growing up i avoided PBS. Mom would watch things on there, things like documentaries and history stuff...so i steered clear! Of course it was the opposite in Kimmel's family, they watch it weekly. Thanks to them i have been introduced to two great series one of course being Downton Abbey. The ladies of the family watched the latest episodes sunday night...Season 3 is in full swing! I must share another BBC series hit, Call the Midwife. I was a bit hesitant but really quite enjoyed it. If you haven't heard of this one you can find it on Netflix, or join in for the second series in March. Based on the memoirs of Jennifer Worth (main character) set in east london during the 1950's. Such sweet stories of family, love and loss. I feel like it teaches me week after week how much mercy and grace is needed from me towards others. Some weeks its like watching mother theresa personified thru these sweet stories! I cry and i laugh and i fast forward the births...cause i can...

If you have not joined the masses on Instagram this wont matter to you. If you haven't check it out today instagram is an awesome app and loads of people are on it. I follow Jimmy Fallon cause he makes me laugh! He doesn't post often but when he does its worth it.  Stickygrams is a companion website that you log on with your Instagram account. Here you can place and order for your pictures onto magnets! I had heard about it a while back, then saw a friend on Instagram do it and love it so i thought i would give it a try!  It is so easy and the results are awesome! I was thinking that this would make great stocking stuffers and gifts for friends and family. You pick out nine pictures and they send them to you in a little less than a week. The company is based in the UK so sometimes it may take more time but i received them quickly. Cost only $15. I think its brilliant! The one thing i hate about digital pictures is you never print them out any more, or you do year...

So i think most of you know the website Pinterest and all its glory. I think i get Pin overload after awhile, looking at all the things i could make and do to be the bestest house mommy/wife ever! Most times i love to drool over all the house designs and home decor. Since we will be building our house in the next 2 years i mark things that i want in our house...but wonder if it will ever really happen. I wonder how many people out there pin just to pin and don't really do anything with it or if we are all trying all these things! I have tried a couple recipes and even pinned one i found from all recipes to share. Those are the easiest i think to do from Pin. I think you have to be somewhat crafty to really do some of these items and i hope to try a couple soon! Even still i know i don't have talent for some and have asked my friend Maddie to paint one for me! One of the shows that i DVR is House with Huge Laurie. I love his character so rude and crude yet so loveable! The stories behind the medicine, and behind the illness. I know it isn't totally real and they always wrap it up tight but its great! I would totally not do well working under someone like house, but i would try for a bit. i think it would make me a better person! lol Tonight it ends. From 2004 to 2012 it had an awesome running! The cast has changes some thru out the years but has maintained some really great ones! I am sad to see it go but you should watch tonight at 9 on fox. It will be awesome.

Mythbusters is a show that makes science cool! The scientific method is put into practice with each idea or myth. I wonder if any science classes watch episodes of the topic they are studying. I know i would if i was a teacher. I remember in my Junior year Physics class we watched Bill Nygh the Science Guy! haha it was fun and educational!  I must admit this too is a Kimmel liked first thing. He would watch marathons of this show and i was kind of like ..eh its alright.  I see now that its pretty cool! The people are definitely entertaining to say the least. :) It is amazing all the stuff they go thru just to prove something to be busted or not. Pretty cool stuff! I have learned a lot too, some necessary for life others not so necessary! Do you and your family Mythbusters? What other shows do you think make science cool? 

So i am not sure if you have heard of this show or not. Supposedly its making lots of noise and people love it, Son's of Guns. We stumbled across this show last summer i believe and liked instantly. Its on the discovery channel, which i must confess i never watch but Kimmel does. If you haven't caught it yet you should at least try it once! It is a reality show about Will the owner of a gun shop, his daughter Stephanie runs the office part and 5-6 other guys work on the guns. They live in Louisiana and are just fun to watch. Last season i told Kimmel that Chris totally liked Stephanie, and that came out this season! I don't think he believed me when i said it :) haha women's intuition! Its incredible what they make. Their interactions are crazy too. I believe they are now turning the show into an hour long show...so i guess you need to get on the band wagon cause they are red hot! 

Little do you know i got the Senior Superlative for Best Dressed. To look at my closet now you would never think that. Its funny how as you get older you lose touch, or money or whatever to keep up with the latest styles and trend setting info. This week mom took me to her favorite store....Khol's....I am not a huge fan cause their clothes were either too teenybob or too soccer mom. I am happy to say we stumbled across a new line, and name i recognized, Lauren Conrad!! Don't know how many of you were Hills watchers or even before that the FIRST Laguna Beach, but she is one of the main reality girls. At first sight i was like these are cute...but will they fit? Will i have to get an XL just to fit where i can breath like other stores :) I picked up three really cute, different styled, shirts in Mediums and they all fit!! they were flattering, modest and fun! I was totally impressed and excited! Finding something fun and girlie is rare and i found it! Now i have another sp...

I have talked about my green tendencies and saving green- money- so naturally this movie caught my eye. You should watch the trailer its really great and a bit funny. The thing that really made me interested was the tag line..."A climate change solution movie [that doesn't even care if you believe in climate change]". Just made me chuckle...and one guy on there says "if you don't believe in the climate shift than do all this cause your greedy and it will save you money" AND there i a one armed Texas farmer who says "i guess you could say i have done it single handedly!" Awesome! We are using up resources and we need to find better ways to use the earth. I am a conscientious TV watcher..i hate wasting the day away just watching shows...it feels empty and gross. Don't get me wrong i can waste a good Saturday with the best of us but as far as the weekly watching i try to keep it to the minium not the max! :)  But monday nights are AMAZING!! My husband and i are blessed to have DVR and we record two shows weekly CHUCK and CASTLE!! My husband really enjoys Castle, he thinks he is cleaver and oh so 'rugged and handsome'! I love Chuck cause he is a sweet lil nerd and is totally in love with this bombshell and he is always so SWEET! Castle just makes me laugh and laugh...the story writters are awesome! i just know that they won't ever get together cause its the crux of the show...so keep it clean an sweet boys! Last night we actually got to watch them on time cause andrew didn't have a football game. It was a nice night of relaxation with a lil bit of football (bears and somebody played).

I was driving home or to work the other day and i heard this great song on the POP radio station. There was something that made this song different. It was a guy singing to a girl, not abnormal, singing sweet words. Saying things that made my heart smile and think of Andrew cause he has said something similar to me. As i continued to listen to it my thought was All girls would love to hear this from a guy....and just as quick as that thought passed i heard God impress on my heart... That is what i think about you, and all my creation! I had a moment of worship thanks to this silly pop music guy. I had not heard the name of the song or the artist and it as been a few weeks, so i thought to search itunes. Thought it would be very difficult to find. Clicked the Top Tens tab, then the itunes tab and this is what i saw. It is the number one song right now. That tells me that those words ring true in our society today. That girls like to hear his words, and guys aren't to ashamed to say ...

Just received an email that Jack Johnson is coming thru dallas this coming August! So excited. Then as i was looking on line at his site i saw that a new album was coming too! Got super excited! Sandra Bullock! She won an OSCAR!! Her humble attitude makes it all the more exciting! Her hard work for many years, and her love for her job has led her here! Its fun to see her so excited and thankful! I thought it was funny to watch her husband Jessie in the back ground as she got interviewed...he just seemed like he was a bit out of place...but not at all upset he was there. You know when you do something for some one out of your comfort zone...it was sweet to see. I am putting some clips of her...if you want watch them they aren't long. Last night andrew and i were watching all the entertainment shows (flipping between ET, access hollywood and Extra) watching as they ask her so many silly questions...one time something was asked and her response made andrew and i laugh out loud! I am drawing a blank at this moment..but she is so down to earth! Love it!

How many of you know Boyz II Men? They were the love songsters of my time. The cd that you bought and listened too at the beach, pool, in the car, it always but you in a great mood. I remember in college a friend of mine did Karoake at a 'Cafe' Night', with some of his friends, they sang their song "I'll Make Love to You" and he added 'once we are married', or 'after we say i do' after every time they sang that line...it was so funny. Well i just found a cd of theirs that they released back in November 2009, of covers. Songs like "i can't make you love me' by Bonnie Rait, 'Amazed' Tim McGraw, 'Iris' by the googoo dolls etc. It is sooo good! Their harmony and voices are just so smooth and soothing. If you ever liked any of their stuff at least take a look at it on iTunes. Its pretty great! :)

I love Mariah Carey!!! From her first albulm in 1990 thru her breakdown to Emancipation of Mimi i have been a fan!! I have not heard her latest albulm, 'Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel' but soon will. She is a little proud and happy of her body, and likes to flaunt it. That aside i like her. On a trip to Vietnam about 5 years ago, in the Tokyo airport, Mariah walks by us. Her designer bags carried by someone else, and boarding the plan before anyone else. She is a huge sensation and we got to be close to her in a normal situation. Well if having an entourage with you who carries everything for you and makes you happy no matter what and being filthy rich is normal. haha I share all this cause she is coming to Dallas next month, and i secretly (well openly now) want to see her! I just don't know who would go with, i can't take andrew! hahah and not really anyone else would pay to see her...oh if Monica lived here i believe she would go with me!!
