Don't know if i am super late on this or not but i wanted to share the new station that plays all the time in our car. 101.7 Air1 FM out of Azle Texas. I got in the car the other day and kimmel had changed my number 3 preset and i was like HOW DARE HE?!! :) Listened for a while and recognized Toby Mac. So i kept it there and heard some really good music, christian artist. I am not a huge fan of 94.9 FM - no offense to anyone. I can kind of be a radio snob when it comes to christian stations so it is kinda nice to have this station! You should check it out!  You can listen on line at tunein.com as well. Went to the Dr today for our soon at 20 weeks to measure our new little bean. Also getting to know what gender it is! We were super excited to find out! I have been envisioning ways of decorating each room, and this lil baby already had a design :) Only trouble is i had a 'feeling' that i new which gender it was. I was dead wrong! I asked the lady to double check lol Its a boy! We stopped by kroger to get some balloons, one of shepherds' favorite toys, so he could help us with the announcement!  Since we live with kimmels parents we asked Paige and her crew to come over to see the announement too! I texted my mom before we got there- she was working- and i facetimed my sister and some of her kids so they could be a part.  Now Kimmel and i have the task of picking a name, we were so sure it was a girl that we didn't even really think about boys names. We are just so excited to add another boy to all this fun...

In this past year of living with the in laws, watching shepherd grow and also planning our dream house on our land i have learned a few things. 1. i am not a hummer - don't know if any of you have a mom who hums songs perfectly and calmly, i always thought i would be that way. I love music and i love to sing/hum but i realize that there is something seriously wrong with my hum capability. There were two things that always happened when i would rock and hum to shepherd. A, it usually becomes a christmas song or B, I start out with the classical Lullaby (lullaby, and good night...) turns into Praise the Lord an old hymn. (praise the lord, praise the lord, let the people rejoice..) 2. I have no concept of how much things cost! Either that or my taste is way more expensive than i have! While looking at all these different building materials and stuff for the house i am often shocked at how pricey things can be! I understand now why there is a 'builder grade' set of stuff.

While we are in a holding pattern right now living with Kimmel's parents and all things up in the air, it is nice to have some close friends come back home and start a church plant. We have known the Jones for more than a decade and they still like us!  When Dustin talked to us about his vision and plan we were excited to support and help out. Its been fun watching as the Lord unfolds the direction for the church. We have been meeting at the Jones house for a month now and its exciting to see the people that are coming and the core that support it.
