Half way there

So we are officially over the half way mark from us getting engaged and our wedding date! Its making it seem more and more real! I am getting excited! Invitations are done and i will mail them next week, we looked at rings yesterday...that was fun...went to the place with my florist and we looked at decoration options....its all coming together nicely and i am getting excited! Ready to start my life together with Andrew! hahaha :) YIPEE!!!

Wondeirn if yall could give me some advice about weddings....something i need to remember or be warned about! Cause i am on cloud nine! :)

Sweet Susan...you just ENJOY her day! Remember if something doesnt get done that is small details...DONT WORRY about it! No one will know! I can give you more advice, but will leave it at that for now! LOVE YOU and wish I could be there!!!

Susan, my best advice is to plan early. Get everything done so you don't get stressed. Don't be afraid to hand stuff off to other people. Things to think about that often get left till the last minute: The program for the wedding. If you do one finish it weeks in advance. I've seen this cause a lot of stress. Also if you do gifts for your wedding party. Pick them out early so you don't have to stress about it. It's the little things that I've seen couples forget about and then get stressed about the day of the wedding. If you do forget something just chalk it up and forget about it. It's not worth getting stressed over. One last thing...have fun. Weddings are great!

As mentioned in the last entry of this blog i bragged about how Dad is taking care of me and just making things light and easy and fun for the wedding. Yesterday Andrew and i went and took pictures with a friend of ours. And she took us to the grapevine train station, a field, a strange house, and to the lake where he proposed. We laughed, kissed, hugged, laughed and tried to stay warm. It was so much fun! Ellie was a bit nervous cause the temperature was like in the 50's. But the sun and sky was perfect so she said if we were game she was game. So we did! Ended up with like 200 pics....she wittled them down and gave me 160 some. They are all sooo good...it was hard to pick my fave. I am so thankful for her, her talent and her willingness to do this with us! I may put a link to the folder...but not sure just how....so bear with me! :)

I was curious as to where Valentines day came from and this is what i found. There are varying opinions as to the origin of Valentine's Day. Some experts state that i t originated from St. Valentine, a Roman who was martyred for refusing to give up Christianity. week not planned

This past week was something i didn't plan or ever hope for. Last thursday during staff retreat i started cramping in the abdominal area...pretty abnormally...went to the er ...andrew left school and got there right when i was being admitted at 10ish...spent all afternoon testing prodding and found something on my ovary...it was burst and i was internally bleeding...so at 8:30 i was in the surgery room having it removed laposcopicly...is that how you spell it? ;) by midnight andrew and i were checking out, heading home. Spent the weekend recovering which was weird in itself cause no one tells you about all the quirky things that happens to your body with all those meds and stuff. The worst one was the constipation that came from it. one word people "stoolsofteners'' ( i know its not one word its a partial quote from a movie) man oh man...if you have had surgery and your surrounding family made you eat and drink things that were nasty to help you recover and you by pas
