Tex Mex

Its cold here in Ft Worth! Slow cooker season again! Trying a new one today, it is smelling good! Thought you might like it too. Its chicken tex mex served on rice!

Slow-Cooker Tex Mex Chicken
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1in wide strips
2 Tbsp taco seasoning mix
2 Tbsp flour
1 green pepper cut into 1 inch wide strips
1 red pepper cut into 1 inch wide strips
11/2 cups thick and chunky salsa
1 cup shredded cheese

Mix all but the cheese in slow cooker cover lid. Cook on low 6-8 or high 3-4
Stir just before serving and top with cheese.

You can lay this over rice or maybe even put it in tortillas.
