Kiwi Crate craft box

Shepherd received a three month subscription to Kiwi Crate from his Layla and Opa (Valinda and mark- my inlaws) and i have to share how great it was!

Kiwi Crate has four different crates they send out depending on age starting at 3 up to 15. First ages 3-4 is Koala Crate and this is what we got to experience! A box of two or three crafts then instructions about how to use them, each came with a book too. Check out their Facebook Page! This is a great gift idea!!

Not sure if its my lack of awesome crafting ability or cause Shep is a boy but we don't do loads of crafts so i was really intrigued by the concept and completely satisfied with the product. Each 'craft' was thoroughly thought out and simple. You didn't need extra glue, or anything to make it work, and they are simply designed to make even the most uncrafty person, such as myself, look good! As well as all that goodness each one came with a book! Its also was fun for him to receive a box each month! Got so excited!

Crate one: Theme was music.

Came with a white silk scarf, wooden ring, and koolaid to color it. Musical instrument with patterns of play to follow to hear how it can be played in different ways. There is a book with some activities and stories about music for. Book: Pete the Cat, Old Macdonald Had a Farm by James Dean

Crate two: Theme was colors

Came with same book of actives and stories about the theme, color block and screens. Some paper with pictures to color- we already demolished those. Pack of crayons, paint and a paper pendant to paint/color -which also is decorated and destroyed! :) Book: Brown Bear Brown Bear by Eric Carle

Crate three: Theme was bugs

This one had fun flashcards of bugs and a bug eye viewer to inspect closely.  The activity and story book, as well as the instructions and extra ideas. Cute cute cute bug wings (cape) to decorate and headband bug antennas. -as modeled below. The felt spots and stripes came with adhesive on the back and easy to peal! LOVED IT! Book:

Cutest bug ever! :)

Highly recommend these fun crates! Check them out!
