Turkey Break

This thanksgiving i spent it with my boyfriend Andrew and his family. It was a lot of fun and relaxing. We drove out to east texas on thursday to visit with his dad's side of the family. They live out in the middle of no where with lots of land to roam and run. Wish i grew up there..it would be an amazing place for my imagination to run wild!
Then friday we headed out to a cute B&B for his mom's side of the family celebration. It was a quick 40 min drive to this great place in Arura Texas. They had donkey's buffalo (pictured below) and horses. Andrew wanted to ride one but the ranch hand wasn't in this particular weekend.
While we were waiting for Valinda's siblings to arrive we were having a bit of fun :) she said we looked like the three monkeys so we fulfilled her vision.

It was a great holiday, very relaxing, both families were super great and welcoming. Had a lot of fun playing gin rummy with his Aunt Janice, and listening to all their stories and laughter.

My mom moved houses finally. It is a sad chapter though. Cause my dad finished off the upstairs, built the porch and deck. I remember helping him. I hope to drive by it over Christmas just to say goodbye...silly i know. But i am excited for my mom and hope all is going smoothly!

Thanks for all your prayers.
