Slow cooker Recipe #2

Simple and true, this is one of our faves! I cooked it last night...its so simple and you just leave it and forget about it! I recommend this to anyone! I love how chicken is so soft in a slow fave!

Served with mash potatoes, corn bread muffins and broccoli. (you can do what you like :))

Southwestern Chicken
2 cans (15-1/4 oz each) whole kernel corn, drained
1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
1 jar (16 oz) chunky salsa, divided
6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1 cup (4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese

in a 3 qt slow cooker, combine the corn, black beans and 1/2 cup salsa .
Top with chicken, pour remaining salsa over chicken.
Cover and cook on high 3-4 hrs or until meat juices run clear.
Sprinkle the cheese; cover until cheese is melted about 5 mins
