disconnected...

So this past week or so i have been disconnected from internet at our new home...we have not gotten our internet connected yet...due to the fact that our new house is in a bubble of nothing but dish can be purchased there...i will not go on my rant about that...(verizon fios is amazing and i can't get it )

All that to say i have been disconnected from the blog world and email and its strange...i feel like i miss something...next week is camp and i will be disconnected again another week. :( hopefully when we get back on friday AT &T will have delivered the modum and we will be all hooked up.

Until then please pray for me and the staff as we go to Camp this next week. Please Pray that the students will actually listen and that God will reveal a little more of himself to them! Thanks

I will be praying for y'all as you go to camp! :) Hope you're all connected when you get back. ;) I know how you feel. Our house has awful cell phone service, and I can't make phone calls unless I want to go stand in the yard...which isn't possible in the rain, freezing cold or while kids are running around inside. :)

As mentioned in the last entry of this blog i bragged about how Dad is taking care of me and just making things light and easy and fun for the wedding. Yesterday Andrew and i went and took pictures with a friend of ours. And she took us to the grapevine train station, a field, a strange house, and to the lake where he proposed. We laughed, kissed, hugged, laughed and tried to stay warm. It was so much fun! Ellie was a bit nervous cause the temperature was like in the 50's. But the sun and sky was perfect so she said if we were game she was game. So we did! Ended up with like 200 pics....she wittled them down and gave me 160 some. They are all sooo good...it was hard to pick my fave. I am so thankful for her, her talent and her willingness to do this with us! I may put a link to the folder...but not sure just how....so bear with me! :)

I was curious as to where Valentines day came from and this is what i found. There are varying opinions as to the origin of Valentine's Day. Some experts state that i t originated from St. Valentine, a Roman who was martyred for refusing to give up Christianity. week not planned

This past week was something i didn't plan or ever hope for. Last thursday during staff retreat i started cramping in the abdominal area...pretty abnormally...went to the er ...andrew left school and got there right when i was being admitted at 10ish...spent all afternoon testing prodding and found something on my ovary...it was burst and i was internally bleeding...so at 8:30 i was in the surgery room having it removed laposcopicly...is that how you spell it? ;) by midnight andrew and i were checking out, heading home. Spent the weekend recovering which was weird in itself cause no one tells you about all the quirky things that happens to your body with all those meds and stuff. The worst one was the constipation that came from it. one word people "stoolsofteners'' ( i know its not one word its a partial quote from a movie) man oh man...if you have had surgery and your surrounding family made you eat and drink things that were nasty to help you recover and you by pas
