Songs of Life

I was driving home or to work the other day and i heard this great song on the POP radio station. There was something that made this song different. It was a guy singing to a girl, not abnormal, singing sweet words. Saying things that made my heart smile and think of Andrew cause he has said something similar to me. As i continued to listen to it my thought was All girls would love to hear this from a guy....and just as quick as that thought passed i heard God impress on my heart... That is what i think about you, and all my creation!

I had a moment of worship thanks to this silly pop music guy. I had not heard the name of the song or the artist and it as been a few weeks, so i thought to search itunes. Thought it would be very difficult to find. Clicked the Top Tens tab, then the itunes tab and this is what i saw.

It is the number one song right now. That tells me that those words ring true in our society today. That girls like to hear his words, and guys aren't to ashamed to say they like it too. Their, OUR, souls cry for Jesus and those words that guy say is just a SMIDGEN of the love and obsession Jesus has for us. Here are the words.

Oh her eyes, her eyes, make the stars look like they're not shining
Her hair, her hair, falls perfectly without her trying

She's so beautiful and I tell her every day!

Yeah I know, I know, when i compliment her she won't believe me
And its so, its so sad to think she don'ts see what i see
But every time she asks me do i look okay? I say

When i see your face, there's not a thing that i would change
Cause you're amazing Just the way you are
And when you smile, the world stops and stares for awhile
Cause your amazing just the way you are

Her lips her lips, i could kiss them all day if she'd let me
Her laugh, her laugh she hates but i think its so sexy
She's so beautiful and i tell her every day

Oh you know, you know, i'd never ask you to change
If perfect is what you're searching for then just stay the same
So don't even bother asking if you look okay
you know i say

Chorus to the end

I think you are so right. Sooo many girls, and women, need to hear this and know God thinks they are beautiful just the way they are. I was thinking of Tirzah when I heard it, and wanting that so much for her as she grows.
