I was driving home or to work the other day and i heard this great song on the POP radio station. There was something that made this song different. It was a guy singing to a girl, not abnormal, singing sweet words. Saying things that made my heart smile and think of Andrew cause he has said something similar to me. As i continued to listen to it my thought was All girls would love to hear this from a guy....and just as quick as that thought passed i heard God impress on my heart... That is what i think about you, and all my creation!

I had a moment of worship thanks to this silly pop music guy. I had not heard the name of the song or the artist and it as been a few weeks, so i thought to search itunes. Thought it would be very difficult to find. Clicked the Top Tens tab, then the itunes tab and this is what i saw.


It is the number one song right now. That tells me that those words ring true in our society today. That girls like to hear his words, and guys aren't to ashamed to say they like it too. Their, OUR, souls cry for Jesus and those words that guy say is just a SMIDGEN of the love and obsession Jesus has for us. Here are the words.

I think you are so right. Sooo many girls, and women, need to hear this and know God thinks they are beautiful just the way they are. I was thinking of Tirzah when I heard it, and wanting that so much for her as she grows.

As mentioned in the last entry of this blog i bragged about how Dad is taking care of me and just making things light and easy and fun for the wedding. Yesterday Andrew and i went and took pictures with a friend of ours. And she took us to the grapevine train station, a field, a strange house, and to the lake where he proposed. We laughed, kissed, hugged, laughed and tried to stay warm. It was so much fun! Ellie was a bit nervous cause the temperature was like in the 50's. But the sun and sky was perfect so she said if we were game she was game. So we did! Ended up with like 200 pics....she wittled them down and gave me 160 some. They are all sooo good...it was hard to pick my fave. I am so thankful for her, her talent and her willingness to do this with us! I may put a link to the folder...but not sure just how....so bear with me! :)

Photo shoot with Mabry Family

This past saturday was my first official photo shoot, meaning not really close friends, was really nervous to do it. Andrew came with me and was my voice of direction. I picked the same spot a friend of ours took our engagement pictures, main street Grapevine. We went a bit early to the spot and marked some places we thought would work, and talked out what positions might be good. With his strong voice he commanded them into spots! :) It was fun and the weather was perfect for it. Andrew had gotten me a new lens in time for the shoot so i was super pumped and so thankful it made it in time. There were a couple times that i forgot to change the setting and was like OH NO! Let's try that again!  I think they like it and are happy with it. A mutual friend has already asked me to take pics of her and her hubby. Now i am just waiting for my label to be created so i can look even more official! This is a fun hobby that i am excited to chase after! Click Here for more pics

week not planned

This past week was something i didn't plan or ever hope for. Last thursday during staff retreat i started cramping in the abdominal area...pretty abnormally...went to the er ...andrew left school and got there right when i was being admitted at 10ish...spent all afternoon testing prodding and found something on my ovary...it was burst and i was internally bleeding...so at 8:30 i was in the surgery room having it removed laposcopicly...is that how you spell it? ;) by midnight andrew and i were checking out, heading home. Spent the weekend recovering which was weird in itself cause no one tells you about all the quirky things that happens to your body with all those meds and stuff. The worst one was the constipation that came from it. one word people "stoolsofteners'' ( i know its not one word its a partial quote from a movie) man oh man...if you have had surgery and your surrounding family made you eat and drink things that were nasty to help you recover and you by pas
